Bat Walk on Rowley Fields

9 August 2017

BACK by popular demand, the Friends of Rowley Fields will be hosting their third 'Bat Walk' on Friday September 8th.

The walk, which starts at 7.30pm, is an informative and fun event led by local expert guide Lois from Warwickshire Bat Group.

Lois will have a number of bat detectors for use on the walk around Rowley Fields, which will end at around 9pm.

You will need to dress up warm, wear suitable footwear and bring your torch and mobile (if you have one). The walk is limited in numbers to ensure everyone can hear and participate - and it’s first come first served. To secure your place please call Giovanni on 01789 290912.

The group will meet at the entrance to Rowley Fields at the top of Maidenhead Road. A mobile number to contact you would be helpful in the event of a last minute change due to the weather, otherwise come along and enjoy the walk and learn more about our nocturnal creatures.

Donations for the walk are invited £2 per adult and £1 for children - which will be passed to the Warwickshire Bat Group to help them with their conservation and educational work.
