Quentin Willson, Chairman
Quentin is a motoring journalist and presenter. He fronted Top Gear for a decade and writes for numerous national publications, while campaigning on behalf of Britain's motorists. Quentin has lived in Stratford for almost 20 years and is an elected Trustee.
Tony Jackson, Deputy Chairman
Tony Jackson is a nominated Trustee. He was born and educated in Ellesmere Port and moved to Stratford-upon-Avon in 1984. He works for NFU Mutual and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
An elected Trustee, Ian has lived in Stratford for 28 years. Educated in Weybridge, at RAE, Farnborough (incl 3 years in Territorial Army), and an MSc from Cranfield University, specialising in Ergonomics and System Design. Now retired, his career as a Human Factors Engineer and Project Manager has been with EMI, GEC, BRB (rail), IBM and MoD (Navy, DERA and QinetiQ), involving committee experience with ECMA (European Computer Manufacturers’ Association), ISO (International Standards Organization) and Baldridge Organisation Quality Assessment.
Tim Bailey is an elected Trustee. He has lived in Stratford for 50 years, working as a Police Officer for 30 years and currently as Assistant Head of Sixth Form at King Edward VI School. He is married with two sons and is involved in several community groups including Friends of Rowley Fields.
Charles is a nominated Trustee. He is a Stratfordian, born and educated in the town. His working life started at Ball Brothers foundry in Arden Street, and later moved to Peugeot where he progressed to management positions. Charles is now retired.
Tessa has lived in the town since she was a baby. She was educated in Stratford and started work at the NFU in the Life Department, and has also worked at the RST and Marks and Spencer, ending up as a Postal Officer at Stratford Post Office. She is a nominated Trustee.
Lindsay MacDonald is an elected Trustee and lives with his wife in Shottery. He sings in the choir at Holy Trinity Church. He has a PhD in image science from University College London. Before retiring at the end of 2016, he had dual careers, first in industrial R&D and then in academic research. He is dedicated to working for the conservation of Stratford and the good of its people
Matthew is a co-opted trustee. He is a lawyer with over 12 years’ experience in the property sector. He lives in Stratford with his wife and two young children.
Stephen Parker is a co-opted Trustee. He is currently a Pro-Chancellor of Coventry University having served as Chair of the Board of Governors from 2015-18. He is also a Non-Executive Director of TRL Ltd, a Non-Executive Director of YASA Ltd and a Non-Executive Director and Senior Advisor to FEV Group GmbH. Stephen during his career has held a number of senior executive positions in large international companies. He was born and has spent most of his life in South Warwickshire and his family are deeply rooted in the area. He has lived in Stratford upon Avon for the past 21 years.
Clive is a Chartered Accountant. He is Chairman of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, Senior non-Executive Director of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC, and an aerospace industrial advisor to Cooper Parry Corporate Finance. He was executive chairman of Shimtech Industries from 2011 until 2015, and CEO of Umeco PLC from1997 to 2011. Clive is a co-opted trustee.
David is an elected Trustee and has lived in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 30 years with his wife and family. He has, until recently, been a Partner at MRT Architects and is now working part time as a Consultant Architect. David is an active member of several local clubs and societies.
