Stratford-upon-Avon Town Trust was established, as it operates today, in 2001, when it separated from Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council.
Prior to that, our long history dates back to the 13th Century.
The Trust is a registered charity and is not part of the local authority.
The Town Trust’s purpose is to use the income generated by its properties and investments to fund activities which support the community here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Funding – from the £100 to support a community gardening project to the £100,000 to support Stratford’s new cancer and eye hospital – is available throughout the year and to support a huge variety of causes.
The Trust is managed by a team of Staff and Trustees.
Anyone over 18 and living in Stratford-upon-Avon is eligible to Become a Member and get involved.
