We give grants to projects and groups that help to improve quality of life for the people who live in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Each year we have around £1 million to distribute with some funding already committed to multi-year projects and grants awarded earlier in the year.
We’ve identified five key priorities where our grants can make the biggest difference to the local community:
To be considered for funding, your activity should meet at least one of the above priority themes.
We primarily fund local non-profit making community groups and organisations. Other non-profit organisations are welcome to apply as long as the project/initiative is focused and based within Stratford-upon-Avon. You don’t have to live in the town to apply for a grant, but your project or group must benefit people who live in the town. Those who study or work in the town can also benefit in certain circumstances. See a map of the area the Town Trust covers
Fast-Track Grants can be submitted at any time for applicants looking for £2,000 or less.
Our main grants round runs twice a year and applictions are invited during February and September 2018 and should be received no later than 28th February or 30th September. There is no restriction on the amount which can be applied for (although applicants should note we typically allocate in total aronud £1million each year). Multi-Year Funding applicants are required to complete and return an Expression of Interest (EOI) Form which will be assessed and qualifying applicants will then be invited to submit a full application. EOIs must be returned by 15th February 2018 and 15th September 2018 to be considered in the corresponding grants round.
