WE ARE pleased to welcome our newest Trustee, Josie Stevens, who was appointed to the Board following a competitive process. Josie will bring with her a range of skills and expertise in marketing and communications as well as a real passion for her hometown of Stratford upon Avon.

Currently the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Josie has held senior leadership roles in communications agencies as well as within global brands. Already an existing member of Stratford Town Trust, she is keen to help us create a vibrant and connected community.

Sara Aspley, Chief Executive of Stratford Town Trust said: “We’re delighted that Josie is joining us a Trustee. Her enthusiasm for the work we do and for our town really shone through and we know her contribution to the Board is going to be a real asset as we move towards delivering our five-year strategy.”

Stratford Town Trust is run by a small team of dedicated staff governed by eleven Trustees, all of whom must be members. Our trustees play a central role in supporting the Town Trust team and ensuring that we operate to the highest standards of charity governance. As this was an unplanned vacancy, Josie’s appointment will last until the end of the term of the Trustee she is replacing. In this case, 30th June 2022, with an opportunity to serve, if elected, a further four-year term.
